lake house, island house, farm house. this is basic best-life stuff.
this greek island home designed by isabel lopez quesada more or less encompasses everything i'd want in an island house. at least the one in greece.

i'd hope for a screened porch with painted floors.
i'd definitely plant wild flowers wherever i could.
a wall of oars seems practical and good looking.
lights on the dock are mandatory.
as is an outdoor shower.
for the inside...
kilims everywhere.
most definitely glossy white floors.
probably a wall of books and a cozy wood burning fireplace.
windows that open like this and bedrooms that look like that.
a mostly practical vibe.
yet still warm and agreeable.
