amanda pays and corbin bernsen's farmhouse in the south of france.

both of whom are now professional house flippers. they've simplified their aesthetic and are devoted to sticking to a tight budget. most of their stuff was either found in a flea market or built by corbin. they wrote a book about it of which i have ordered bc i dig their vibe.

while i don't think these belong in any true detox diet they most definitely won't throw you into a sugar coma if you have just one. they are super pretty too.

because a pan of nutella brownies when you're the only one home is worse than anything.

if you follow my instagram stories you will know that i got stung inside my nose by a yellow jacket tuesday morning. that was a special kind of pain that i won't soon forget. but i am here to tell you that you should always have activated charcoal on hand bc i swear to god that stuff is magic. neutralize venom. pop it on a zit. brush your teeth with it, and i can attest to it's efficacy for stopping diarrhea in it's tracks, as well as decrease bloating in general. especially after eating something disagreeable.

the next einstein is 23 years old. and female.

this is so pretty considering what it's actually used for.

this was the easiest, quickest and most delicious chicken and dumplings i've ever made.

it calls for already prepared chicken which i roasted earlier in the day but you could make this even easier by using a store bought rotisserie chicken. but i can't attest to it being as delicious.

amazon prime members will get special discounts at whole foods. holy shit. yes!

this tuna salad sounds delicious. do u eat tuna salad on bread or do you scoop it up with crackers? i'm the latter.

autumn approacheth.

dress like a damn lady for once - you. to me.

in my world of jorts, t shirts and bras that nasa would do well to conduct experiments on (off color, lopsidedness, strange smell, ability to defy gravity despite worn elastic and broken clasps)...i am craving something a bit more sophisticated for fall. (and yes i need new bras)

i would like very much to live in high waisted pants, satin blouses and a low heeled slingback pump on all the days i'm not in jeans. because jeans are uniform gold. and i live in them. i'd like 100 pairs. but i think i have 3? maybe 4. i could win the lottery and spend it exclusively on jeans, shoes and masks. but that's another blog post, obviously.

back to trousers and satin....

i've created a hi/lo version for us all.

these jacquemus pants are sold out almost everywhere (available here and here). and for good reason....they're really special. (the back is the best part).

this ysl scarf detail blouse is my dream blouse. i would tuck it into these pants and strut around.

loving these lizzie fortunato gold, mustard and black tassel earrings. very striking. very sharp.

boyy leather shoulder bag. this bag screams fall to me. that oversized buckle.

manolo low heeled slingback pump. i am serious about this being the shoe shape i want to live in this fall. with jeans. with jorts and a sweater. with cropped high waisted pants. so pretty and ladylike.

satin blouse from mango. gorgeous color and tailored to wear many ways. i'd tuck it into these high waisted pants from aritzia.

these tassel earrings from madewell come in this gorgeous peach or black. and at under $30 a pair why not buy both?

metallic handle shoulder bag from mango. doesn't this bag hit all the right marks? looks so much more $$ than it is and totally on trend. comes in white too.

probably my favorite find yet. these velvet slingback pumps from mango are super affordable and i love the contrasting fabric detail and asymmetrical heel. they also come in red and i can't decide which i love more.
