do you even know?

hello so much!!

i have a couple of things to share/ask-

you may have noticed a little change here. i moved my online store back to this site. and it’s the homepage rather than the blog. i’m working on changing the url to my name without too much disruption to anyone’s life.

also- there should be a pop up when you come here that invites you to subscribe to my newsletter. i thought about this a lot and think that there could be potential to make the blog a newsletter and vice versa. so think art related stuff- but also inspiration and some other cool shit. like playlists. i make GREAT playlists. i’d love your thoughts on this. specifically things you’d like to see in said newsletter. and frequency.

sidenote- if you subscribed to my old newsletter you are already subscribed to my new newsletter. check your spam folder, mark as NOT SPAM and see the two newsletters i already sent this week. there’s a discount code for you for 10% off my jellyfish paintings. (it expires sunday!)

speaking of jellyfish paintings! there are some new and pretty jellies in my shop now!

this one is my favorite! her name is ursula and she is big! height- 40”. width- 26”

such a cool size for a jelly painting.

i hate picking favorites though. i really do love them all. which is why the collection is so small.

this one, screaming mimis, is also a fave. the background has so much depth. it’s impossible to tell in photos. and the pink jellies…come on!!

see them all here.

that’s it from me today.

for real though, check your spam folders. subscribe if you haven’t already. i think you know i won’t spam you. and give me your feedback on making the newsletter bloggy or the blog newslettery but also your ideas on what you want to see. and then when you’re done go buy a jelly.

bowls and their deep DEEP meaning

LOL. JK.

just added some new bowls to the shop. plus more coming very soon.

i am working on a new collection of stuff unlike anything i’ve ever done before. i am taking my time and really doing the fancy artist thing and putting a lot of thought and shit into it. more on that soon!

anyway…here are a few sets of bowls if that’s what you need in your life.

5 Oceans Bowls.

Pacific, Indian, Arctic, Atlantic, Southern. in that order. :)

Hi Viz Bowls.

it’s the 80’s and you’re skiing.

Jellybean Bowls.

my favorite jellybeans were the purple ones and the red ones. i could fuck with a black one too. fight me. are you getting a flavor flashback?

Sorrento Beach House Bowls.

i’ve never been to sorrento but i’m certain there’s a beach house there that smells like these colors. lemon? neroli? jasmine and ocean?

and let’s not forget how good they look in situ-

jennifer pino (a wonderful and accomplished artist herself)

20 small works

good day to you!

tomorrow (tuesday) at noon i will be releasing 20 small works on paper. these pieces are stand alone, BIG mood abstracts. framing is key and i am full of ideas on how and where each of these would shine, so if you need a little vision here do not hesitate to shoot me an email after you grab one. or before. either way.

there was a lot of red in this collection. and it’s valentine’s day so…

available tomorrow here.

a random gathering

just some rando spaces giving me pause…

this lady hung faux coral branches on her chandy instead of the crystals she came with. 5 star decision.

a lovely palette and an interesting combo.

cozies.

spring is my favorite.

the details.

the composition.

the coaaaaat. (and lavender tights)

a masterful mix.

i just love everything about this. palette, walls, art placement, subtle pattern.

remodelista, design files, rita konig, atlantic pacific, house and garden uk.

cinnamon witch

hello frans!

tik tok is telling me that february is all about my manifestations coming true. BIG CHANGE they say. also blowing cinnamon into your house while standing at your front door and chanting something about good health and prosperity will bring them? i dunno. i tried it. i’ll keep you posted.

in the meantime i’ve added some work to my shop -

Boba Bowls (fiona named them ❤️)

12- 6 x 6 funsize bowls.

Holy Roller Bowls

holy spirit activate.

9 - 9 x 12 bowls. an entire wall awaits.

Winter Party

48 x 60 canvas. this big girl hangs horizontally over my sofa and i love her. letting her go isn’t easy. and she is discounted bc the stretcher bars are warped so she will be shipped off the stretchers and rolled. shipping is included in the price.

This Body Suffered

30 x 40 canvas.

i hope february brings the most exciting change of our lives.

winter fits

i miss street style. i was just scrolling through my winter outfits pinterest board for a little inspiration (super hard to come by these days).

i was drawn to these pretty basic and very neutral offerings-

i’d reckon you have a lot of this in your closet already. a great coat and boots of all shapes and sizes are what appear to elevate the most basic of lewks. this isn’t news, i know.

here are a few things i found to get us all there…

vegan sherpa lined coat - this is so damn good. a coat like this will detract from anything less than great on any given day (my eye bags).

knee high boots with lug sole - the coolest winter boot. stomp on everyone. these too.

oversized alpaca sweater - you know the person who buys one in every color? i am that person. i have seen these sweaters up into the 500 dollar range and i cannot. everlane is GREAT at clothes and the prices are so reasonable. every single thing i have ever bought from everlane is still in heavy rotation and in great shape. needless to say- i want one in every color.

oversized long teddy coat- sadly this color is no longer available. but i do like this gray one too. oh, but there is a short version in the teddy color, if that’s more your speed.

jeans are essential. i like these and these.

sweetheart sweater bodysuit - one in black too for sure.

favorite daughter pants - if i could pick one thing on this list it would be these pants. and if i could find the black ones anywhere i’d get those too.

a sweatshirt + sweatpants with a cool pair of boots and a long coat makes a huge difference.

combat boots - these will forever be my favorite.

tall boots - and these are in my cart.
