fall mood
just some pins and grams i have been collecting that have me feeling some type’a way.
last year at this time i went to nyc for the first time. how can you not fall in love with new york? and isn’t fall in new york the ultimate mood? we stayed in brooklyn and it was love at first sight. it’s first on my list of spots to go when i am able to.

10. we are still moving along with the bathroom reno. the contractor is coming to tear shit out next week. no idea where this image comes from but i love that it looks so elevated with just the use of plain square tiles on the walls and floor. it helps to have an incredible sink, mirror and lighting. none of which i have. so….help?

quilt season
yesterday the season changed for real. and when that happens i want to flip the switch on everything in my house. i live and die by a new quilt on the sofa every fall. pillows too while we’re at it. bring in a new candle, fresh jewel toned flowers and maybe a fuckin’ gourd or seven and you’ve got a real deal fall decor situation with very few dollars and even less effort.
as i was perusing my usual kantha shops on etsy i came across some really really pretty versions that looked like art. gabby deeming (above) knows what’s up. but if you don’t have the wall space for a full-ass quilt, throw one on your sofa or table.

counting down the days that i can hide my wine bloat under a sweater.

i do love a september vibe.

it’s not exactly fire season here (and won’t be for at least 2 months) but i have been lighting candles like a basic fall bitch. this one from tatine is my current favorite, is cheap but doesn’t smell cheap and the scent fills up the whole house. also into these olive green (dripless) tapers. and these chic match cloches.
my very good friend andrea whalen designed the fabric on my sofa and this ottoman and she even asked for my opinion on it so YOU’RE WELCOME.
this sexy soap from senteurs d’orient is a vibe.
a white blouse with the prettiest details. perfect for that transitional weather.
if you’re going to buy any makeup right now it should be the best eyeshadow in the game and chanel is up there in my top 3. the pigment is beyond and the performance is legit excellent. long wear and all that. this one called noir supreme is all you need for the ultimate cocoa smokey eye. that bottom right brown is chef’s kiss.
