guys we’re right smack in the middle of fashion week. london fw came and went and i give the street stylings a “meh” overall. it’s currently milan fashion week. my absolute favorite (usually) for street style. thanks largely to gilda. anyway…you can be certain i will be reporting on that.
well what with all the street style fashions i’ve been looking at i am basically a stylist now.
so i’ve picked some pieces from mango’s mid season sale that reflect what i have seen so far and/or great shit in general.
this faux leather biker jacket.
these straight leg cropped jeans are 19 bucks.
this goes with everything from skirts to jeans ribbed cotton sweater.
i’d pair this two tone flowy blouse with bike shorts and a pair of pumps. but equally great with any sort of bottom.
this oversize denim jacket is just great.
i just really want to wear this floral print kimono over a t shirt with denim shorts.
this double breasted blazer is so versatile and so right now.
if it’s still summer where you are for a while you can wear this wrap contrast dress right now with a pair of sneakers or flats and once it gets a bit cooler you can throw on some mid calf cowboy boots and a denim jacket.
a fine knit sweater is so important for that transitional weather period and at 25 bucks you can get one in every color.
i love this oversize check shirt. it’s slightly cropped so- great with anything high waisted.
love the flattering boat neck on this ribbed t shirt. great for layering later. and 19 bucks. available in blue, white and black.
this denim blouse has a subtle western/prairie vibe. which is very of the moment but it doesn’t scream sissy from urban cowboy or laura ingalls wilder.

and finally…
stock up on some basic tees. black, white or stripes. but really all 3 and possibly at least 2 of each. because they’re 9.99.
