nigella’s gluten free banana bread. i’ve got 4 bananas getting ready for this party. i’ve also got a pineapple ripening and have been dreaming about this banana bread since the last time i made it. guess i need to instacart more bananas.
i’ve made these meatballs marsala before. they are delicious. and totally adaptable to what you probably have in your kitchen right now. i had a pound of ground turkey and i didn’t want to make spaghetti or burgers or tacos or meatloaf so i went to these. the recipe calls for ground chicken but you could literally use any ground meat- pork, beef, lamb…sure. i also didn’t have any panko- or bread to make crumbs so i used crackers that i stuck in a ziplock and rolled over with a rolling pin. also i didn’t have any milk or heavy cream so i used half and half. also i didn’t have any marsala so i used dry sherry. you could use wine. shit, you could use vodka. also i had egg noodles but you could serve them over mashed potatoes or rice or eat them over roasted cauliflower as i did. also the recipe calls for 2 lbs of ground meat and i only had one so i cut everything in half except for the sauce ingredients and it was the perfect amount for the 3 of us with 2 meatballs leftover and lots of sauce for the noods.
ok then. see ya later.
