it’s march. it’s been raining since january. everyone tells me about a show i need to watch so i do and it’s not good. the outsider? puh leeze. i’ve seen better episodes of scooby doo. i’d like to go outside-r of my house in a sandal with polished toes and heels that don’t look like a salt flat. i’d like to go outside of my house period, but corona so all of this to say GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER MARCH.
i’ve loved this clover wallpaper for ages and it seemed so march vibes appropriate. i’d put it in a bedroom. and while this framed suzani (though huge) seems outrageously priced it sure is pretty and an easy enough diy. a peach velvet sofa and these pretty blue earrings that conjure up spring faster than a layer of pollen. this rug is cute and not at all overpriced but it’s pairing with that hazy, smoky baby blue dining table with a red base is my most favorite thing about this whole mood. i’d pair these chairs from serena and lily with it. but maybe this cheaper knock off.
all the matisse prints here. and more. that little collage is by me and you can see more here. if you’ve signed up for my newsletter you’ll be the first to know when they are available for purchase. ( a sign up form should appear at the end of this post)
this dress from rotate is what i will be thinking about every day until fall.
again with the RIDICULOUS pricing. i DO love a tole moment. but please, so many tole sconces out there just as great and not the price of black market hand sanitizer.
these rain boots make me want to get in my garden, which is currently at level boo radley. stay tuned for that incredible makeover.
peace out and wash your hands.
i think i wore this outfit c. 1984.
loved it then and now.
here are some options to get the lewk…
if you didn’t use your jerry seinfeld voice we can’t be friends.
jk.
am i the only one that notices that the french keep their flower arrangements well past their prime? specifically hydrangeas but any and all are welcome to the flower skeleton party it would seem. also is this even worthy of a blog post? butofcourse (bad french accent)….
gomphrena dries pretty.
it’s cool to mix fresh with dead i guess.
i have that book.
so deliberate.
it’s like she’s mocking us.
i can spend seconds on etsy and find something i want…case in point…..
these vintage plastic plates are delightful to look at.
this large evil eye wall hanging. because sometimes you don’t want a square piece of art.
the work of this artist brings me much much joy. i think you know why.
baby hands letter organizer/toast rack. presented without comment.
rainbow beaded earrings. someone you know would love these.
love this little vintage loomed tapestry. you could do soooo much better on the framing though.
this excellently priced GORGEOUS nude oil painting by patricia neff.
this just seems right. it’s time. my inner 80’s child is compelled.
i appreciate and even marvel at some all white spaces. i think you can run too far into generic and bland if you’re not careful. excellent architectural details help.
i really like this copenhagen space owned by designer britt sisseck. that scandi modern shabby chic (come at me!) gets me every time.
the pale, ashy wood floor is the stuff dreams are made of. i love how she chose varying muted shades of pale (grey, beige and pink) for the doors throughout. the marriage of modern and vintage furniture and lighting is most impressive. it’s all just so dreamy and soothing.
get the look….
paint colors- farrow and ball drop cloth, all white and peignoir.
