several months ago living etc magazine did a spread on abigail ahern's place in london. i flipped out b/c i was just getting into that dark, brooding cozy space thing and of course flip flopping back to the all white, bright, light space (still am), but seeing this just made it palpable. in fact this space went from all white to this dark gray(farrow and ball down pipe). we were kindred spirits it seemed. she combines high end pieces with more affordable decor like changing an entire room's look with paint. her home will forever be one of great individuality for me. she stepped outside the box a bit and created a look for herself. she is the epitome of quirky eclecticism. and she has a great eye...
