i spoke too soon the other day about vaccine. i got the swollen lymph node arm pit thing. it’s nbd. so i’m taking some immune supporting things plus i work out every day so that has to help. anyway it’s more of a nuisance than anything. fiona got her first vaccine yesterday. poor dear passed out from anxiety and had 4 emts assist her and then ultimately wheel her out of the building. she’s fine.
i have this shirt and i need at least 3 more of them. it’s the softest thinnest white cotton button down crop that isn’t see through. it’s a long sleeve summer shirt should you ever need something like that. if you don’t like showing your arms but don’t want to roast to death or whatever. highly recommend
i had a very intense dream about a grizzly bear last night and i felt compelled to google bear dreams. it just seemed like someone (myself) was trying to tell me something. yell at me in fact. here’s what i found:
Bears contain multitudes: Highly intelligent, they form hierarchies within their ursine societies and sometimes share resources, despite their reputed preference for solitude. They are also very cute (from a distance), shambling around the forest on stout, shaggy legs. This wealth of characteristics may help explain why dreams about bears “tend to have several meanings,” according to Lauri Quinn Loewenberg, a professional dream analyst and author. One of the most common ones, she tells the Cut, involves a simple play on words.
“Subconsciously, there’s a bear in your dream to represent some situation … in your life that is very difficult to bear, or someone [who] is unbearable,” Loewenberg explains. Similarly to dreams about snakes or dreams about alligators, this interpretation of a bear comes with an element of anger or frustration here, signaling a hostile presence in your everyday life. If you have a dream about a bear menacing you somehow, Loewenberg recommends you think about who or what currently makes you feel threatened. (And please see also: our guide to interpreting dreams about practically anyone.)
i know it’s all straight up kooksville but sometimes we need a little extra.
